This was show last week during a short trip to visit my parents in Liguria, Italy. I got lucky this year because I've had the chance to see this amazing flower springing to life.
There is a very short time window to see mimosa open as it usually flowers for St. Valentine's
Italians like to present their lovers with this flower the 14th of February which explains why this flower disappears completely by the 15th ;)
I went out for a pleasant walk under the moonlight and I couldn't help noticing this phenomenon: the moon was surrounded by a strange round circle, like an aura, and with all my physics education I couldn't come up with a plausible explanation.
The beauty of Swedish lakes never stops to amaze me.
Just a bit of fun...
Someone screw up the flight plan...
Today I woke up a few minutes before sunrise. I went to my window with a cup of coffee and nearly spilled some while grabbing the camera because I was watching live the very first sun ray wielding life to the valley.
